HOMESTAY

Homestay is a unique opportunity to get first hand experience of modern day Andean culture.

At my home you can enjoy a private room, shared bathroom with hot shower and three home cooked meals a day.

You can use your homestay as a starting point for your exploration of Latin America or longer term.

Many people like to use Cusco as their home base for other trips in the region.

We offer free and secure luggage storage in between homestays with us. Airport pick-up and drop-off are automatically included.

Location

Our home is in the District of  Santiago, a typical Cusco neighbourhood and is a 5 minute ride from downtown.

My family

We are a bilingual family as we speak both Spanish and Quechua.

My parents´ first language is Quechua. They learned Spanish in school. In contrast, my first language is Spanish. I learned Quechua from my grandmother and at the university.

My mother has a small grocery store in front and is the main cook. My father who is retired helps out with the store and does odd jobs around the house.

This room comes with a bookcase, desk, lockable safety cubby and a closet (area: 11Msq / 118 Ft sq).                    

Prices

For a private room at my home with shared bathroom (hot shower)and 3 homecooked meals a day the price is *S/ 65.00 a day. (couple S/ 110.00 a day)
If you just want breakfast the price is  S/ 45.00 a day. (couple S/ 75.00 a day)
